The Discovery Coast Rotary Market is a general market held at the 1770 SES Grounds on Captain Cook Drive. Our market is held from 08:00 am to 12:00 noon on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month, plus long weekends, and every Sunday of the school holidays. The market focuses on local produce and the talents of the regional community who bring their wares and handicrafts to showcase at the markets.

The Discovery Coast Rotary Market is run entirely by a team of volunteers from the Discovery Coast Rotary Club who are passionate about supporting the local community and economy, supporting small and local businesses, local craft, and a changing range of products as travellers come and go form our area. We are proud to offer a range of fresh coffee and various food options, fresh fruit and vegetables, honey, condiments and jams, olive oil and olives, ice cream, various crafts, soaps, candles, oils, wood products, art of various forms, clothes, toys, pottery, seedlings, plants and so much more.

Each Market we provide marquees, a barbecue, and tables for a local community group to raise funds with the ever-popular Sausage Sizzle.

Our market is situated under the trees at the SES Grounds at Seventeen Seventy with a wonderful atmosphere and friendly ambience. There is live music, occasional children’s activities such as face painting and a jumping castle, depending on COVID-19 restrictions.

Want to become a Stall Holder?

Stall holders are required to complete a registration process and receive approval from the market administration team before they are able to book a site and attend the markets.

You will be required to provide information about your stall, the products you sell, and your contact details. The registration process requires that you have an active email address.
